I just came across a quote of hers that perfectly sums up my whole thinking on the shitshow that is branding.
"Find out who you are and do it on purpose."
Who you are. Not who you want to be.
Brand strategy and branding should emerge. They should not be imposed.
Lean into what's natural
Nurture what you have.
Not to create the brand
But to find the brand that is already there.
