Jalapeno Cheetos are a guilty pleasure in my house.

My daughter is 2 years old. She absolutely loves them. Because these Cheetos are a heavily moderated treat for her, she calls them SPICY TREAT. Although, it’s more like "picy tweet."

One day, while standing in her grandmother’s pantry, she tells her Mimi “want picy tweet.”

Among a closet of food and packaging and branding, a 2yr old spotted that Jalapeno Cheetos bag.

A 2yr old.

Can't read the label.

Only saw colors and symbols.

She recognized the bag. She recalled the tasty goodness. She initiated Cheetos acquisition.

This is happening to all of us. All the time. Everywhere.

You just don’t realize it because you’re not as smart as a 2yr old.

So yeah, branding is kinda important.
